Introduction to Hongtai Doors & Windows Factory Production and Installation Process

Hongtai Doors & Windows relies on a modern production base of over 20,000 square meters. Following Australian Standards (AS2047, AS2208) and the ISO9001 quality management system, we’ve built an end-to-end service process—from raw materials to finished products, and on to professional installation. This ensures our products meet the needs of high-end markets at home and abroad. The key steps are as follows:

1. Raw Material Inspection and Storage

•Supplier Selection: We prioritize imported profiles, German hardware parts, and AS2208-certified glass. This helps us ensure material compliance right from the supplier side.

•Strict Testing: Our Quality Control (QC) team samples and tests each batch of raw materials. We focus on checking key indicators like profile thickness, glass pressure resistance, and hardware durability. Any substandard materials are sent back immediately—no exceptions for production use.

•Classified Storage: Qualified raw materials are stored by type and specification. Glass is kept in a temperature-and-humidity-controlled warehouse to prevent moisture damage or scratches. We also maintain an inventory record to track all materials easily.

2. Precision Cutting and Processing

•Drawing Breakdown: Based on custom customer needs or project blueprints, our engineering team turns design plans into production parameters and inputs them into smart CNC systems.

•CNC Cutting: We use advanced CNC cutting machines to cut profiles with high precision—error is kept under 0.5mm to ensure accuracy for later assembly.

•Detailed Processing: Using CNC milling machines, drills, and other equipment, we drill holes, make grooves, and smooth edges on profiles. For cyclone-resistant doors/windows (with special structures), we add extra reinforcement bars to boost product stability.

3. Component Assembly and Sealing

•Frame Assembly: Workers piece processed profiles into door/window frames following production standards. Special connectors are used to keep frames square and free from deformation.

•Hardware Installation: We fit imported German hardware (like hinges, locks, and handles) precisely. We test the smoothness of opening/closing repeatedly to ensure good usability and durability.

•Sealing Optimization: High-elasticity seal strips are added between frames, glass, and profile joints. Automated gluing machines apply sealant evenly—this improves water tightness and air tightness, making products suitable for Australia’s rainy, windy climate.

4. Glass Installation and Pre-Assembly Testing

•Glass Cutting and Cleaning: Glass is cut to match door/window sizes. Professional cleaning equipment removes dirt and dust from the glass surface to avoid affecting light transmission and sealing.

•Glass Fitting: Clean glass is inserted into frames and fixed with double-sided gluing. This ensures the glass fits tightly with no looseness or gaps.

•Pre-Assembly Testing: We test fully assembled doors/windows by simulating real use—checking how well they open/close and if locks are secure. Any issues found are fixed right away to prevent problems in later steps.

5. Full Inspection, Labeling, and Packaging

•Comprehensive Testing: The QC team conducts full tests on doors/windows (including wind pressure resistance, water tightness, air tightness, and sound insulation) according to Australian and international standards. A test report is issued, and substandard products are not allowed to leave the factory.

•Labeling: Qualified products are labeled with model numbers, order IDs, production dates, and QC passed marks. This makes it easy to track logistics and help customers trace their products later.

•Custom Packaging: We use multi-layer packaging (like shock-absorbing foam, cardboard, and wooden frames) based on product size and shipping needs. For products exported to Australia, extra moisture-proof packaging is added to prevent damage during transport.

6. Logistics Coordination and Order Delivery

•Order Matching: The logistics team creates shipping plans based on delivery addresses and deadlines. For domestic projects, we prioritize direct truck delivery. For products exported to Australia and other overseas markets, we work with professional foreign trade logistics providers.

•Pre-Shipment Check: Before shipping, we recheck product models, quantities, and order details. Only after confirming everything is correct do we process the shipment.

•Delivery Follow-Up: We track logistics in real time and update customers on shipping progress. For domestic projects, we coordinate with the installation team to align delivery times. For overseas projects, we provide product certification documents needed for customs clearance to ensure smooth delivery.

7. Professional Installation Service Process

Note: If you need our installation team’s service, they will provide the following support. Feel free to skip this section if installation is not required.

(1) Pre-Installation Preparation
  • On-Site Survey: The installation team visits the customer’s project site (e.g., villas, high-end residences) in advance. They check the size of installation openings and wall structures against design blueprints—focusing on compliance with Australian building standards. They also note any special on-site conditions.
  • Tool and Material Check: They verify that all necessary tools (e.g., levels, electric drills, sealant guns) are available. They also confirm that the quantity and models of doors/windows and accessories match the order.
  • Customer Communication: They confirm installation times, work scopes, and key notes (e.g., on-site protection needs) with customers. They also share the installation process and estimated timeline to avoid later misunderstandings.

(2) Standardized Installation Operations

  • Opening Preparation: They clear debris and dust from installation openings. If the opening size is incorrect, they use professional tools to adjust it—ensuring the opening is flat and vertical for smooth installation.
  • Door/Window Positioning and Fixing: They place the frame into the opening, use a level to adjust horizontal and vertical alignment (to keep the frame straight), then fix the frame with expansion screws that meet Australian strength requirements. Screw spacing is kept under 500mm to enhance wind resistance.
  • Gap Filling and Sealing: Fireproof and thermal insulation materials are filled between the frame and wall gaps. Weather-resistant sealant is applied on the outside, and waterproof sealant on the inside. This double protection improves water and air tightness to handle Australia’s rainy climate.
  • Hardware Testing and Glass Check: They retest the hardware to ensure smooth opening/closing and secure locking. They also check that the glass fits tightly with the frame—no looseness or unusual noises allowed.

(3) Post-Installation Inspection and Handover

  • •On-Site Testing: After installation, they test the products by simulating real use—opening/closing doors/windows at least 5 times to check smoothness, and using a spray device to test water resistance (for exterior windows). This ensures no water leakage or air drafts.

•Customer Inspection: They invite customers to check the installation results on-site, answer any questions, and only ask customers to sign the acceptance form once they are satisfied.

•On-Site Cleaning and After-Sales Link-Up: They clean up installation waste to protect the customer’s on-site environment. At the same time, they hand over product test reports and warranty cards to customers, share after-sales contact information and service scope, and complete the installation handover.

service related FAQ’s

How long will it take to ship after placing the order?2025-12-15T14:07:09+08:00

Bulk orders usually take 15-25 working days. For rush orders, you can check with us in advance if we can expedite.

Is there a price difference between powder coating and anodizing process?2025-12-13T13:49:01+08:00

There is no difference in price between them.If the house is near to the sea, we recommend that you choose anodized surfaces to achieve long-term effective corrosion resistance, but powder spraying is better if the house is far away from the sea.

What is your MOQ?2025-12-15T11:15:24+08:00

At present, in order to support customers to a greater extent, we do not make MOQ,But if you only need a single window or door, we recommend purchasing locally.

How to ensure the factory quality of products?2025-12-15T11:09:09+08:00

We have a 5-step quality control process, from raw material inspection to final packaging. Every window is tested for air/water infiltration before shipment.

Can we customize it and put our logo on the product?2025-12-13T13:50:10+08:00

Yes, we have a team of professional design services and we can make protective film and wrap cardboard with your logo according to your design.
